Xin Yunpeng: all men are created equal
One hundred thousand space will be presented on April 7, 2016. The work of Xin Yunpeng project: everyone is born equal.
"All men are created equal" was written by Thomas Jefferson. The declaration of independence of the United States was adopted at the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, which announced a series of "self-evident truths", among which the most important one is "all men are created equal". In addition to the fact that "created in the Old Testament" has a strong meaning of "equality" in the Old Testament, it also implies that "created by God" is "universal equality" for human beings.
Xin Yunpeng's consistent works give people the feeling of "hard to digest". He interprets the meaning of the concept "falling" to the art category from the perspective of an artist. Through the device language to express the thinking of the real dilemma. Since his work "unimportant" (Taikang space 51 M2: 8ා, Beijing, 2010), artists have been involved in presenting the heavy relationship caused by the differences between people, and constructing some political metaphor by means of installation or image. "Both" (walk slowly, Chuncui contemporary art space, Beijing, 2011) and "pretty boy" (I'm waiting for you at Kai Tak Airport)! 1A space, Hong Kong, 2011), and vividly expresses the "leverage" of artists to weigh the "right" meaning under the complex living experience.
In this exhibition, Xin Yunpeng's new works presented in the 100000 space will start his new round of discussion on the art scene.
