Liang Quan Solo Exhibition-The Neo Six Persimmons
It's a great honor to bring Mr. Liang Quan's personal exhibition project: the new six persimmon painting, which was painted by Mu Xi, a painter in the Southern Song Dynasty. The six persimmons are placed naturally with different ink and ink, virtual reality, yin and Yang, and thickness. After a long time, through this work, we can see the Zen realm of "everywhere is true". We couldn't help thinking, what was Muxi thinking when he painted these persimmons? What did he go through? Mu Xi's persimmon and Liang Quan's persimmon are, to a certain extent, the same "authenticity" as Liang Quan's: the authenticity of feelings. As Mr. Liang Quan himself described this feeling: I chose a grass in the carpet like lawn. I looked at it for half a minute and then moved my eyes away. Only for a moment, I couldn't recognize it from the green again - the world is meticulous and real, and everything seems insignificant.
This year, Mr. Liang Quan, who is 72 years old, went to the United States to study printmaking in the 1980s. After returning to China, he taught at Zhejiang Academy of fine arts and later moved to Shenzhen. Mr. Liang Quan felt the difference between Chinese and Western Art: "Chinese people have refined a kind of refined context and artistic conception for wind, rain, sunrise, sunset, nature and even artificial landscape, such as" eight sceneries of Xiaoxiang ". However, there is no such context and artistic conception in the West. Although there are works showing the sea, forest and still life, they are not summed up as a kind of humanistic taste and artistic conception. We can't say that the west is not good, but our affirmation is different from theirs. So I think about how to combine the art I have learned, such as abstract, geometric form and modernist expression, to express this unspeakable meaning in the way of abstract thinking spirit. I have been making some attempts in this direction. ".
In this exhibition, Liu Lang Wen Ying, Fei Lai Feng, Xiao Ying Zhou and Shi Li Lang Lu are from the natural environment around Hangzhou. Mr. Liang Quan presents the real natural environment in his own language in a similar way, which is in wonderful agreement with the logic of Chinese traditional landscape painting "Ink" painting in front of the landscape, teacher Liang Quan also used his own "abstract" language to present the natural environment he saw, to present his understanding of Bach, to show his understanding of flowers and plants, "tradition" here, with different languages to show us the Southern Song Dynasty Muxi painting "six persimmon painting" emotional scene.
